A ski resort in Pyeongchang-gun, Gangwon-do, had an accident where a lift stopped for an unknown reason, and dozens of isolated users were safely rescued in about 3 hours.

According to the Gangwon-do Fire Department on the 19th, the resort stopped at the Alpensia Resort ski resort in Pyeongchang-gun at 4:12 pm on the same day.

As a result of this accident, 54 passengers had to wait for help in the cold weather.

The fire department delivered winter supplies to the isolated passengers, while first rescuing passengers and children who could be rescued on the ground. 토토

The police also put in about 30 manpower to help rescue users.

All passengers were rescued at 7:48 pm on the same day, and three people, including A (21), complained of hypothermia and were taken to the hospital.

An official from Alpensia Resort said, “Work is underway to recover the malfunction of the lift,” and “we are investigating the exact cause of the accident.”
