It was Kim Ha-seong who started the game. He had a multi-hit game in just two at-bats.
After leading off the first inning with a single, Kim hit a two-run single up the middle off Pittsburgh starter Rich Hill with the bases loaded in the top of the second.
Bae followed with a sacrifice fly to left field with runners on first and third in the bottom of the inning. It gave Pittsburgh the lead for good.

Bae’s sacrifice fly set the tone for Nick Gonzalez and Andrew McCutchen, who followed with RBI singles, as he hadn’t collected an RBI in 12 games since April 14 against the Chicago Cubs.
Prior to the game, Kim was batting .251 with eight home runs, 26 RBIs, 13 doubles and a .739 OPS in 74 games. In his last seven games, he is batting .333 with three home runs.
In 72 games, Bae is batting .242 with two home runs, 18 RBIs, and 20 stolen bases for a .618 OPS.
He has a 21-game hitless streak over his last seven games, but he has a chance to break out of his slump with a good first at-bat today.
Meanwhile, the game between San Diego and Pittsburgh remains tied 3-3 in the third inning.
