Dinosaur Legion’s ‘Glasses Ace’…Lotte wins ‘Nakdong River Derby’ against NC
‘Glasses Ace’ Park Se-woong (Lotte) dominated the ‘Nakdong River Derby’ against the NC Dinos.
The Lotte Giants won their 2023 Shinhan Bank SOL KBO League home game against the NC Dinos 11-1 at Sajik Stadium in Busan on May 25.

Avenging the previous day’s loss, Lotte remained in third place with 24 wins and 15 losses (0.615 winning percentage). They are two games behind the LG Twins, who moved into first place after beating the SSG Landers on Sunday.
Park Se-woong shut down the NC bats for the win. He went seven innings for the first time this season, striking out eight. He allowed just two hits while on the mound안전놀이터.
After a rough start to the season, Park has now won two straight games after picking up his first win of the season against SSG on April 19.
The offense responded to Park’s strong start with some hot hitting.
With runners on second and third in the bottom of the first inning, LOTTE took a 2-0 lead on an infield single by Jeon Jun-woo and a sacrifice fly by Ahn Chi-hong.
After scoring a run in the bottom of the second, Lotte put together a big inning in the third to take the lead for good.
After back-to-back singles by Ahn Chi-hong and Han Dong-hee and a walk by Noh Jin-hyuk loaded the bases, LOTTE started the big inning with a push single by Ko Seung-min.
After a two-run double by Lee Jung-geun, LOTTE scored two more runs on an infield grounder by Park Seung-wook and a sacrifice fly by Kim Min-seok to make it 8-0. Lotte added a run in the bottom of the fifth inning on an NC error to make it 9-0.
NC narrowly escaped defeat in the top of the eighth inning with back-to-back doubles by Yoon Hyung-joon and Son Ah-seop.
Lotte added two more runs in the bottom of the eighth on a wild pitch and a passed ball to complete the 11-1 victory.
Meanwhile, the Doosan Bears defeated the Samsung Lions 4-3 in extra innings thanks to Kim Jae-ho’s walk-off hit in the bottom of the 11th.
Last-place KT Wiz swept the Kiwoom Heroes 3-0 for their second straight win. The Hanwha Eagles defeated the KIA Tigers 4-3.
