Bell was named Cincinnati head coach in October 2018. He signed a two-year extension in September 2021, his second contract extension.토토사이트
In Bell’s five seasons at the helm, Cincinnati has compiled a record of 307 wins and 343 losses. The team finished above .500 for the second straight season in 2020 and 2021, marking the first time since 2012-13 that the team finished above .500 in back-to-back seasons.
In 2020, he led the team to the postseason.
The Reds lost 100 games in 2022, but with 29 games left in the season, they are 56-48 and in second place in the National League Central, with a shot at the postseason.
If Cincinnati wins the district title this season, it will become the first team to win 100 or more games the season before and then win the district title the following year.
He joins his father, Buddy Bell, as the first father and son to manage in the major leagues. This is one of only five times in Major League Baseball history that the Bells have done so, joining George and Dick Sisler, Bob and Joel Skinner, Bob and Aaron Boone, and Felipe Alou and Luis Rojas.
