Correspondent Moon Dae-hyeon = Right-handed pitcher Tyler Appler (30), who played for Kiwoom Heroes last season, has entered Taiwanese professional baseball.
Taiwan Professional Baseball (CPBL) Fubang Guardians announced on the 6th that they had recruited Appler as a new foreign player.
Appler entered the KBO League by signing a $275,000 contract with Kiwoom ahead of the 2022 season.
He pitched in 33 regular season games, went 6-8 with an earned run average of 4.30, and recorded quality starts (6 or more innings and 3 earned runs or less) eight times.
Appler stood out in the postseason. In the 3rd game of the semi-playoff against KT Wiz, he won with 1 run in 5 innings (visa), and in the 4th game of the playoffs with the LG Twins, he pitched well with 1 run in 6 innings, helping to advance to the Korean Series. 안전놀이터
